JAMMU, Feb 21: The three-day long Veterans Lawn Tennis Tournament, organized by J&K Lawn Tennis Association (JKLTA) under the aegis of J&K Sports Council, commenced here today.
The tournament is being organised under the leadership of B.S Jaggi, general secretary JKLTA and it has attracted senior players from across J&K.
This tournament is specifically designed for the veterans above the age of 40, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their tennis skills and remain active in the sports.
The Tournament will conclude on February 23. The matches were continuing till last reports.
B.S Jaggi emphasized the importance of such events in encouraging active participation among senior players.
