JAMMU, Jan 21: Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association is going to organise “J&K Veteran’s Badminton Championship 2019-2020 at Badminton Hall, Indoor Sport Complex, MA Stadium from February 2 to 5, 2020.
In the championship, players of Age group (35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+) , men and women in Single, Double and Mixed Double, born on or before (1984, 1979, 1974, 1969, 1964.1959, 1954 and 1949) can participate in the upcoming championship.
The Hony General Secretaries of all the affiliated district badminton units are requested to sed the entries of the players of their respective units to the undersigned along with entry fee, through crossed cheque/ Demand Draft in favour of J&K Badminton association on the address- Balbir Singh Jamwal, 57, Shankar Vihar, Talab Tillo, Jammu (180003).
The last date of receiving the entries is January 29 at 5 pm while the draws will be held on January 30 at 8 pm. The matches will start on February 2, 2020 (Sunday) at 9 am.
The tournament shall be played as per the rules of Badminton Association of India (BAI). The team of Jammu and Kashmir Veteran’s wil be selected as per the performance of the championship to represent the J&K State in the 44th Veteran’s National Championship to be held at Jaipur, Rajasthan from February 23rd to 29th, 2020.
