JAMMU, Jan 21: Tripura were 158/7 against Jammu and Kashmir in CK Nayudu Under-23 Trophy at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota, here.
Earlier, put into bat by J&K skipper, Vivrant Sharma, Tripura lost the wickets at regular intervals and managed to score 158 runs off 45 overs in a rain-hit day-1 today. Sankar Paul top scored with unbeaten 62 runs off 113 balls, studded with 9 fours and one six, while AA Sinha and SS Sutradhar contributed 16 and 14 runs to the total respectively.
From Jammu and Kashmir, Rouf Ahmed Bhat and Imtiyaz Ahmed Ganai took 3 wickets each, while Saksham Sharma claimed one wicket.
