UT level Rope Skipping C’ship concludes at IDPS

JAMMU, Dec 29: J&K UT level Rope Skipping Championship, organized by Rope Skipping Association of J&K in collaboration with International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Jammu, culminated here today.
About 150 students from different Schools and Clubs of J&K participated in the championship which was won by Ultimax Fight Club Rehari, while the runner up trophy was clinched by BSF Jammu. Best skipper award (Male) was secured by Zayin Dobriyal from KC International School and best Skipper award female was won by Radhika Sharma from Shangrilla Public School.
The event was organized under the guidance of Danish Sharma, Technical Director, Rope Skipping Association Jammu & Kashmir.
The event was declared open by the chief guest Ravinder Raina-president BJP, while Ankit Gupta, social media in-charge BJP J&K was the guest of honor and Makrand Mehta was the special guest.
Surjeet Singh Salathia, former Minister and vice president of BJP UT was the chief guest for the closing ceremony, while Vivek Gupta, Director DPS was present as guest of honor and Vikram Sharma, president Rope Skipping Association of J&K graced the event as special guest. They honored the students and gave awards for their extraordinary performance during the event.
Technical members for the championship including Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Saddam Hussain, Sinia Abrol, Asha Rani, Aashima Pathania and many others were present during the event.
