JAMMU, Nov 7: United Public Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat held a function in connection with its Annual Day celebrations in the School premises here today.
Minister of Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla was the chief guest on the occasion while DIG Jammu, J P Singh presided over the function. Chief Education Officer, Natha Ram Dingra and Divisional Traffic Manager Indian Railways for J&K Ram Nath Meena were the guests of honour.
The function was attended by the prominent people. The students presented a colorful programme on the occasion, which was appreciated by the audience.
In her welcome address School Principal, Mrs Rajni Sharma asked the student community to work for unity and integrity of the country and also appealed the parents to come forward and support their children in this mission so that India becomes stronger day by day.
Addressing the function Raman Bhalla lauded the role of management of the School in giving quality education and for working for creating a best social order in the society. He said the Government is considering closing those education institutions, which don’t confirm to the norms.
J P Singh while lauding the role of the students of the institute said the colorful programme presented by them needs all appreciation as they showcased the unity in diversity and the diverse culture of the nation.
CEO, Natha Ram Dingra said that all the play way schools will be derecognized which are running without Government permission.
