Udhampur conducts U-19 Girls’ cricket selection trials

UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: The Department of Youth Services & Sports, Udhampur, conducted selection trials for the Under-19 Girls’ District-Level Inter-Scholastic Cricket Tournament. The event, held under the supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Romesh Chander Mishra, saw participation from 17 aspiring cricketers. Mishra, joined by ZPEOs Pushpinder Kour and Vijay Kumar, motivated the participants to uphold discipline, honesty and true sportsmanship.
Selected players will represent District Udhampur at the upcoming Divisional-Level Inter-District Competitions. The selection panel included experts such as Ajit Singh, Raj Kumar, Rakesh Khajuria, Naveen Kumar, Dheeraj Tharmat, Rakesh, Pooja Sharma, Jyoti Sharma, Aruna Jamwal, Sourav Pandit, Vickey Sharma and Deepak Sharma. The DYSSO congratulated the selected players and appreciated the efforts of the organizing team.
