REASI, May 6: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Pouni, organized the Inter-School Zonal Level Sports Competitions for Girls in the Under-17 category. The event featured exciting contests in Kabaddi, Volleyball, Kho-Kho and Wrestling. ZPEO Balwan Singh expressed pride in the successful execution of the event, emphasizing that such competitions provide young athletes a platform to showcase their talent while promoting core values like discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. Chief guest Kewal Krishan, Headmaster of Government High School Dadooa, encouraged the participants, highlighting that the courage to compete and the commitment to improve make them champions, regardless of the outcome. In the results, GGHS Pouni defeated GHS Kund Khanyari by 2-0 in Volleyball, HS Kheralair emerged victorious over HSS Laiter in Kabaddi, GHS Pouni won against HSS Laiter in Kho-Kho, and participants from HSS Bharakh and HS Kheralair competed enthusiastically in Wrestling.
