Tawi Trekkers to organize 2nd phase of Himalayan Trekking Prog

JAMMU, Oct 6: Tawi Trekkers J&K will organize the 2nd phase of Himalayan Trekking Programme by conducting a number of Heritage treks for school students during October and November in Dharamshala area of Himachal Pradesh.
During the 4 days Dharamshala venture, the trekkers will visit the world heritage site of Kangra Fort, the sacred Jwalajee temple, Macleodganj, Dhara- mkot, Bhagshunath, Tapovan, Chamunda, Dharamshala and Nagini besides a visit to the beautiful Dharamshala stadium.
However, the special attraction of the programme is a visit to a sprawling tea garden and a tea manufacturing company to learn about the complete process of production of tea.
The participation fee which includes boarding, lodging, transportation and supervision by expert trekkers is Rs 3,400 only.
