Priya, Divya, Raksha emerge winners in U-19 Discus Throw

JAMMU, Oct 6: Inter District and Division Level Competitions, being organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports being played at various venues.
JAMMU, Inter District Divisional Level Athletic Meet for under all age group girls was played in University of Jammu.
In under-19 (100 meters), Pooja Sharma of Jammu, Sandhya Devi of Kathua and Anjana Sharma of Samba bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-17 category, Yasmeen Akhter of Samba, Kanchan Devi of Kathua and Mamta Devi of Udhampur clinched first, second and third positions respectively and in under-14 category, Chitralekha of Jammu, Payal Sharma of Samba and Pari Begam of Kathua bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 (400 meters), Neelam Devi of Jammu, Manisha Kumari of Kathua and Shallu Shamra of Samba secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-17 category, Razia Begum of Jammu, Priya Devi of Kathua and Priya Sharma of Udhampur clinched first, second and third positions respectively and in under-14 category, Esha Rani of Udhampur, Shoba Devi of Samba and Pari Begum of Kathua bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 (800 meters), Bhawani Devi of Jammu, Samreena Bano of Ramban and Razian Begum of Udhampur bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-17 category, Anshu Rani of Udhampur, Priti Devi of Kathua and Shamani Devi of Jammu secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 (3000 meters), Taheera begum of Udhampur, Tripta Devi of Jammu and Sheetal Devi of Samba clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-19 category, Reeta Devi of Jammu emerged winner.
In under-19 Discus Throw, Priya Angural of Samba, Divya Thakur of Jammu and Raksha Devi of Udhampur bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-17 category, Stuti Gupta of Jammu, Savita Devi of Samba and Neha Kesar of Udhampur clinched first, second and third positions respectively and in under-14 category, Tania Kumari of Jammu, Priyanka Kumari of Kathua and Muskan Sharma of Samba secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 High Jump, Ayushi Rajput of Jammu and Shoba Devi of Samba clinched first and second positions respectively, whereas in under-17 category, Madhu Sharma of Jammu, Sonali Devi of Udhampur and Priyanka of Samba bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in under-19 category, Meetali of Kathua, Nasreen Fatima of Jammu and Razia Choudhary of Samba clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 Triple Jump, Veena Devi of Jammu and Bandana of Samba bagged first and second positions respectively.
In under-17 Javelin Throw, Tanya Sambyal of Udhampur, Roshni Devi of Jammu and Neha Devi of Samba bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-19 category, Shivani Devi of Jammu and Pooja Devi of Kathua clinched first and second positions respectively.
POONCH: Divisional Level Inter District Volleyball Tournament for under-14 and 17 boys commenced today at Sports Stadium and Degree College Ground here.
A total of 14 teams of Jammu Division are participating in the tournament. The tournament will be played on league-cum-knock out basis and for the first time matches are being played under flood lights.
In under-17 category, Ramban beat Samba by 2-0 sets, Kathua beat Udhampur by 2-0 sets and Samba beat Kathua by 2-0 sets.
In under-14 category, Ramban beat Samba by 2-0 sets, Kathua beat Udhampur by 2-0 sets and Samba beat Kathua by 2-0 sets.
