SRINAGAR, May 20: Syed Hyderpora defeated BCC Hawal by 56 runs while FCC Fallchal XI thrashed Sahara Cricket Club (SCC) by 9 runs in the ongoing Budgam Premiere League.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Syed Hyderpora scored a huge total of 262 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, BCC Hawal could not chase the target and make only 206 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing 3 wickets. Thus, Syed Hyderpora won the game by 56 runs. Kamraan, who made 162 runs in just 61 balls with the help of 10 sixes and 13 boundaries, was declared as man of the match.
Meanwhile, in the 2nd match of the tournament played between FCC Fallchal XI and Sahara Cricket Club Magam, the former defeated latter by 9 runs.
Batting first, FCC Fallchal scored a total of 165 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. However, while chasing the target Sahara Cricket Club managed to score only 157 runs in 19.5 overs by losing all wickets and thus lost the match by 9 runs. Ishtaq Ahmad, who scalped 4 wickets by giving only 21 runs, was declared as man of the match.
