Surya Bhanu Partap Singh brings laurels to State

JAMMU, Aug 13: J&K lad Surya Bhanu Partap Singh has brought laurels to the State by winning the silver medal in the 2016 Masters Challenge Wushu Cup, which was held at Macau recently.
His selection was based on his best performance in the 13th World Wushu championship held at Indonesia-2015. He was the only participant from India selected for the prestigious event.
Surya Bhanu Partap Singh defeated Macau and Philippines and lost to China in the final in the third round.
Singh participated in the championship under the supervision of Chief Coach of India Kuldeep Handoo.
