JAMMU, July 18: International Master Athlete Surjeet Choudhary has brought pride to Jammu and Kashmir by winning three gold medals at the Open Masters Athletic Meet held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Choudhary clinched top positions in the 100-Meter Race, Long Jump and Triple Jump, showcasing exceptional athletic skill and dedication. With this latest achievement, he continues to add to his impressive track record at the international level.
So far, Surjeet Choudhary has secured seven international medals for India in Masters Games. His past accolades include 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in 2023, 3 gold medals in the India-Bangladesh Masters Athletics Meet (2018) and 3 gold medals in the Khelo Masters Games 2023 held in Delhi. In the 2025 edition of the Khelo Masters Games, he won gold in 100m and silver in Long Jump and Triple Jump.
Choudhary now sets his sights on representing India in the upcoming Olympic Masters Games, continuing to inspire the next generation of athletes.
