JAMMU, Nov 24: The Sub-Junior Jammu & Kashmir UT Kabaddi Teams in Boys and Girls sections were flagged off by Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Org.), BJP, ahead of their participation in the National Sub-Junior Kabaddi Championship at Sonipat, Haryana, scheduled from November 27 to 30. The teams will depart on November 26 in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association (J&KAKA), stated that the selection committees had finalized the probables for the UT teams. Sports kits were distributed to players and officials by Koul in the presence of dignitaries including Vikas Jindal, Ankush Chib, Charanjeet Singh Raina, Ajaj Gupta, Anita Khajuria, Amin Khan, Amrit Dev Singh, Kiran Devi and Sikander Lal.
The Girls’ team, coached by Anita Khajuria, includes Eva (Jammu), Manjot Rajput (Samba), Nazia Lateef (Bandipora), Beenakshi Devi (Udhampur), Fozia Anjum (Rajouri), Shreya Thakur (Udhampur), Kysa Fatema (Doda), Prakriti (Kathua), Siya (Jammu), Saara Amin Khan (Poonch), Aakriti (Kathua), Sania Jaan (Baramulla), Anfa Tanveer (Baramulla) and Girja Bhagat (Jammu).
The Boys’ team, coached by Amin Khan and managed by Sikander Lal, features Irfan Alam (Poonch), Yashir Bashir (Budgam), Waseem Raja (Doda), Danish Ali Waza (Bandipora), Akshraj (Jammu), Yawar Imran Dar (Budgam), Ram Paul Sharma (Jammu), Lavish Dogra (Udhampur), Tanik Loria (Jammu), Farhan Khursheed (Shopian), Shazib Manzoor (Pulwama), Vikas Sharma (Udhampur), Anirudh Dev Singh (Ramban) and Vishab Pratap Singh (Kathua).
