JAMMU, Sept 5: Stephens Cricket Academy registered win over Trikuta Cricket Academy in two-day match at Railway Station ground here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Stephens Cricket Academy scored 209 for the loss of all wickets in 57 overs. Aditya Negi scored magnificent 75 runs and Rahul chipped in 56 runs.
For Trikuta Cricket Academy, Aditya Sharma and Mubassir took 4 wickets each.
In reply, Trikuta Cricket Academy were all out for 206 runs. Manitvya Sharma scored 48 runs and Vasu Lamba made 43 runs.
For Stephens, Paras took 3 wickets, Abhishek and Harshdeep took 2 wickets each.
In the second innings, Stephens were all out for 128 runs in which Sukhwinder scored 54 runs and Paras made 16 runs.
For Trikuta CA, Manitvya took 4 wickets, Aditya Sharma scalped 2 wickets and Sanam took 1 wicket.
In reply till the end of the day Trikuta just managed to score 77 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in which Uttkarsh Gupta scored 30 runs and Vasu Lamba scored 21 runs.
For Stephens, Harshdeep took 5 wickets.
The match ended in a draw but as Stephens Cricket Academy took the 1st innings lead by 3 runs they were decided as winners.
The man of the match award was presented to Harshdeep Singh of Stephens Cricket Academy for his brilliant bowling spell in which he took 7 wickets in the match with a 5 wicket haul.
The match was officiated by Danish and Balbir Singh.
On the occasion, chief coach Sukomal Ganguly congratulated the players and said that these type of matches will help the players to develop themselves for the long format of the game.
