JAMMU, Mar 10: Sacred Heart College of Education, Paloura, Jammu conducted Sports Week, which concluded in its premises, here today.
The Sports Week involved indoor as well as outdoor games like kho-kho, badminton, tug of war, chess and table-tennis.
In badminton boys, Sunil Kotwal and Vishal won first prize, while second prize went to Balvir and Minkal.
Sudhir won the first prize in chess competition, while in badminton girls, Kavita, Aryan and Rajni stood first and the second prize was won by Bharti and Shivanjli Charak.
Team ‘B’ was declared winner of tug of war event, while Meenu Jasrotia won first prize in table tennis.
Principal of the College, Dr KK Tiwari advised the students to involve themselves more and more in extra-curricular activities, while Managing Director of the College, Hari Singh Chib also spoke on the occasion.
M D of the College alongwith the Principal and the staff distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
