JAMMU, Sept 30: J&K Speedball Association selected 18 players for Open National Speedball Federation Cup 2012 to be held in Andhra Pardesh from October 4 to October 8.
Those who were selected for Championship included Manthan Pandoh, Rhea Tikku, Pranay Gupta, Jasdeep Singh , Gurmanjeet Singh, Ritik Sharma, Mohd Majeed, Manuveer Singh, Sarthak Luthra, Sanscriti Nanda, Sheetal Singh ,Gurmanjeet Singh, Gurmehar Singh, Harsh Sharma, Aditya Singh, Mrinank Gupta, Manika Sharma and Zulfkar Malik.
Sahil Janjua and Rhea Tikku are also accompanying the team as Head Girl and Head Boy respectively.
According to a handout issued here, Sunny Nanda has been invited as the North India Chief Incharge for 4 States of HP, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Ashok Kumar and Chairperson Indra Bhalla motivated the players to showcase their skill at the national scene.
Interacting with the players, President of the Association, Anil Nanda expected a good performance from the State players.
