JAMMU, Jan 9: Special Olympics Bharat – Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory (JKUT) will be conducting Athletics Selection Trials on January 12 at University of Jammu Gymnasium Ground, near General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu. The trials will commence at 9:00 am sharp and are being organized for the selection for the upcoming National Championship of Athletics to be held in Haryana from February 2 to 7, 2026.
Athletes with intellectual disabilities from across the Union Territory are invited to participate in the trials. Special schools, NGOs, institutions, parents and guardians are also encouraged to support and facilitate participation. The selection trials aim to identify talented athletes and provide them an opportunity to represent JKUT at the national level.
Special Olympics Bharat JKUT continues to promote inclusion, confidence, and excellence through sports. Adequate arrangements will be made to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
