SP South inaugurates Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, Nov 20: SP South, Deepak Digra inaugurated Heavenly Shepherd Memorial Cup Cricket Tournament in presence of Chandan Datta, social activist at St Peter’s School Karan Bagh, here today.
The tournament is being organised by Zion Sports Club of All J&K Christian Sabha. The opening match was played between RS Pura team and Akhnoor team wherein the former trounced the later by five runs. Goldy from RS Pura declared as man of the match.
The chief guest said that such tournament may increase the morale of youth and provide a platform to flourish their hidden talent. He also congratulated the Sabha for organising this tournament.
Datta said that the sports activities were very much required to make our youth fit physically and mentally so that they may contribute for the society and nation.
Fr Mathew Thomas, Fr Shaiju Chacko, Fr John Paul, Fr Premful Tigga, Ashu Peter Mattoo, president of the Sabha, Sunny Khokhar, general secretary, Rohit Rockes, vice president were also present during the function.
