JAMMU, Oct 16: SOS Hermann Gmeiner School celebrated 16th Annual Day with pomp and show.
On the occasion, Sat Sharma, State President BJP, MLA Jammu West was the chief guest and Ayodhya Gupta, District President BJP was guest of honour. Large number of distinguished parents also attended the programme.
Principal, RK Dhar presented the welcome address and annual report regarding excellence in academics and Co-curricular activities of school.
The programme began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp, followed by presentation of bouquets and Ganesh Vandhana.
Various culture items like songs, dances, solo dances, skits and qawali depicting religious harmony, our rich culture and traditions patriotism were displayed by the students.
Tawi House was awarded the best house trophy.
MLA Sat Sharma gave away certificates and medals to the students who brought laurels to school in different fields of school activities.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA urged the students to be morally strong, knowledge seeker and contribute in the development of strong nation.
In the end, Geeta Bhan presented vote of thanks.
