JAMMU, Dec 25: The J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association has announced open selection trials for the 2nd Asian Junior Soft Tennis Championship 2026, scheduled from February 3 to 8 in Punjab. The trials will be held on January 3 at the Tennis Court, MA Stadium, Jammu.
The handout issued said all presidents and secretaries of affiliated district units have been asked to nominate their top National/International Soft Tennis players (boys and girls). Players must bring Aadhaar Card and National/International participation certificates issued by competent authorities.
Selected athletes will proceed to further trials conducted by the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India from January 6 to 8, 2026, at Maninagar, Ahmedabad, for final team selection. Organiser said no TA/DA will be provided. Age eligibility criteria include: Under-15 (born after Jan 1, 2010), Under-18 (born after Jan 1, 2007), and Under-21 (born after Jan 1, 2004).
