JAMMU, May 30: Stephens International Public School organised a programme on its campus, graced by distinguished guests Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India and former High Court Judge; Dr B N Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST; and Advocate Shivani Jalali Pandita, Senior Advocate, High Court of J&K.
They were joined by Dr Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd.), Chairman; Satvinder Saini, Director; and Advocate Kunal Saini, Trustee of the school.
During the ceremony, Principal Dr Manjari Sehgal formally inducted the newly elected Student Council members into their roles. The student leaders took a pledge to uphold the values and principles of the institution. The investiture ceremony was marked by the presentation of badges and sashes by the dignitaries, symbolising their new responsibilities.
Advocate Kunal Saini, Trustee of the school, expressed gratitude to the guests, parents and attendees for gracing the occasion. An open house interaction was also held, during which students raised queries on leadership, which were addressed by the dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Dr B N Tripathi appreciated the school management for nurturing future global leaders. Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul encouraged students to remain optimistic towards criticism and strive for excellence. Advocate Shivani Jalali Pandita highlighted that young learners possess immense potential, which can be channelised effectively for growth.
The dignitaries, including Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Dr B N Tripathi and Advocate Shivani Jalali Pandita, were felicitated with mementos as a token of appreciation.
