UDHAMPUR, May 30: Talented young dancers Kavya Khajuria and Pravika Bhandari, who are set to represent the region in an international dance competition in Nepal, were honoured during a special ceremony and extended best wishes for a bright future and outstanding performance in the event. Their dedication, hard work, and talent were praised as an inspiration for the younger generation.
On the occasion, senior leader Pawan Khajuria, former councillor NehaVerma, and other dignitaries honoured the participants and stated that the daughters of Jammu and Kashmir are making their mark at national and international levels in the field of arts and culture, bringing pride to the region, especially Udhampur. They expressed confidence that Kavya and Pravika would perform exceptionally well and make the area proud.
The coaches, Roshi and Aditya, were also felicitated for their contribution in training the participants. The parents of both dancers were honored as well for their continuous support and encouragement in nurturing their children’s talent.
Speakers highlighted the importance of providing talented children with the right guidance and opportunities, enabling them to achieve great success. They also urged society to support and encourage young talent in fulfilling their dreams.
The felicitation ceremony was organized by the Performing Arts Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
