JAMMU, Sept 13: Singh Cricket Club today defeated Jourian Warriors by a big margin of 72 runs to seal berth in the final of the Akhnoor Premium League (APL) at Government Higher Secondary School Ground, Akhnoor.
Batting first, Singh Cricket Club scored 169 runs in 20 overs. Sonu Manhas top scored with 35 runs, while Sunny Kumar and Sunil Bendy contributed 28 and 31 respectively. Vishal, Martin, Sandeep and Anil bagged two wickets each for Jourian Warriors.
In reply, Jourian Warrior managed to score 97 in 18.2 overs. Vishal made maximum 25 runs, whereas Sandeep scored 13. For Singh Cricket Club, Sham Singh Langeh took 4 wickets, Sunny and Govil clinched two wickets each, whereas Sunil Bendy and Binny bagged one wicket each.
Sham Singh Langeh declared as Man of the Match, whereas Vikas Bali and Dayal Singh were the empires and Sushil Gupta was the scorer. The tournament is being organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, president of the Club.
