Shubham Pundir slams marathon ton against TN

JAMMU, Dec 8: Shubham Pundir slammed a marathon century against Tamil Nadu during the match of the ongoing Cooch Behar Under-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at Cricket Club of India ground in Mumbai.
A trainee of Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy, Pundir scored brilliant 178 runs in the first innings of the 4-day match, helping Jammu and Kashmir to score 374 and earn a first innings lead as against 354 runs scored by Tamil Nadu.
However, his big century went in vain as Tamil Nadu registered an outright victory by bundling out J&K for 229 runs in the second essay, needing 254 runs to win. Shubham scored 30 runs in the second innings also.
