JAMMU, May 30: The Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu, conducted a programme for the academic session 2025-26, bestowing leadership responsibilities on the newly elected Students Council. The event aimed to nurture values of discipline, dedication and leadership among students.
Kulwant Singh, Assistant Commandant CRPF, graced the event as chief guest, while Mrigu Sambyal, AIR 2 in UPSC CDS 2024, attended as special guest. The dignitaries, along with chairman Sanjeev Gupta, Director Rajni Gupta, Principal Sonika Mahajan and Headmistress Shivani Vaid Sharma, conferred badges and sashes upon the council members.
Principal Sonika Mahajan administered the oath of office, guiding student leaders as they pledged to uphold the school’s motto “Live. Learn. Lead” with sincerity and commitment. A felicitation ceremony also honoured top CBSE academic achievers of 2024-25, applauded by the chief guest for their excellence.
Kulwant Singh urged students to seize opportunities and become responsible citizens. Mrigu Sambyal encouraged them to stay committed to their duties and contribute meaningfully to the nation.
