JAMMU, Jan 24: The SBI Inter Circle Basketball Tournament, held in Chandigarh, culminated today in an exciting finish as the SBI Chandigarh Circle team emerged victorious. The tournament saw fierce competition with 17 teams from across various SBI Circles participating.
In the final match, the Chandigarh Circle team triumphed over the Jaipur Circle team with a dominant score of 105-73. Despite the defeat, Deepak of the Jaipur team was awarded the “Man of the Match” for his outstanding performance. Meanwhile, Hunny Nehra, Captain of the Chandigarh Circle team, was named the “Man of the Tournament” for his leadership and stellar play throughout the competition.
In the third-place match, Ahmedabad Circle defeated Hyderabad Circle, securing third position. The closing ceremony was graced by Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager of SBI Chandigarh Circle and Sujit Kumar, General Manager (Network-2), along with other dignitaries.
They applauded the skill and sportsmanship displayed by all teams during the tournament. A vote of thanks was delivered by the Secretary of the Circle Welfare Committee, Chandigarh Circle. The ceremony concluded with the prize distribution, where the winning team and individual awardees were felicitated for their remarkable achievements.
