JAMMU, Dec 28: Sarveshwar Cricket Club defeated Shastri Cricket Club by 29 runs in the ongoing 3rd Jammu Tawi Premier League T20 Winter Cup at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, Sarveshwar Club scored 110 runs in 20 overs. Sunny was the top scorer with 27 runs, while Ripu contributed 26 and Rajat 15 runs to the total. For Shastri Club, Arvind took 3 wickets, while Vicky and Vishal claimed 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
In reply, Shastri Club bundled out for paltry 81 runs to lose the match by 29 runs. Arvind, Deepak and Chander contributed 17, 11 and 10 runs respectively. For Sarveshwar Club, Raman Duta and Gourav bagged 3 wickets each, while Manjit claimed one wicket.
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman and Sandeep Manchanda as umpires, while Vinod Kandrya was the scorer.
