JAMMU, Dec 28: Chandel Cricket Club will face Challenger Cricket Club in the finals of Late Chuni Lal Khajuria Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being held at Udhampur.
12 teams participated in this Tournament held from December 7, 2015 with Chandel Cricket Club and Challenger Cricket Club making it to the finals.
Dr. Kamaal paid rich tributes to Late Chuni Lal Khajuria, a prominent leader of National Conference of his time.
He said that Late Khajuria’s honesty, simplicity, dedication and devotion enabled him to reach the seat of Deputy Chairman of J&K Legislative Council in 1987.
Dr Kamaal further said that youth are the future of the country and sports is a vital component for their all round development as responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rattan Lal Gupta, Sr vice president NC, Pradeep Bali, Mohd Farooq Mughal, Mohd Shafi, Lal Chand Musafir, Ram Parshotam, Jagdish Bhardwaj, Ravi Kumar, Govind Sharma, Naresh Anthal, Kishore Sadhotra, Subhash Kudyar, Irshad Mohd and Gopal Chand.
