SAMBA, Sept 20: Salima Bibi of GHS Banglarh won gold medal in 100 mtrs sprint race, while Sanya Devi claimed second spot in this event in the ongoing Under-17 girls Inter-School Athletic Meet, organised by District Youth Services and Sports Office (Samba), under the supervision of DYSSO, Sunil Kiumar at Maharaja Suchet Singh Stadium, here.
The gold medals in 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs. 800 mtrs, 1500 mtrs, 300 mtrs, Triple Jump, Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw and Shot Put went to Pinky Devi of GHS Ghagwal, Manjeet Choudhary of GHS Rehian, Usha Devi, GHS Sarna, Rani Bibi of HS Sarana, Arsha Bibi of HS Sarna, Isha Jamwal of Nav Vidyalaya Dhalote, Samriti, Nav Vidyalaya Dhalote, Hem Lata Sharma, NV Dhalote, Kannu Devi, GHS Bhalore, Shivani Devi of GHSS Samba and Neha Devi of GHS Jatwal respectively.
The events were officiated by a penal of experts of the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
