JAMMU, Apr 28: Romesh Sharma of Jammu & Kashmir delivered an impressive performance at the Sudama Cup Badminton tournament in Chandigarh, winning three silver medals in the 60+ age category.
He secured podium finishes in Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles, showcasing remarkable consistency and competitive spirit. Sharma, Treasurer of the Jammu and Kashmir Masters Games Association (JKMGA), has previously won several medals at national events.
His latest achievement further enhances his reputation as a dedicated veteran player. JKMGA President Ranjit Singh Chib, General Secretary Neete Kour, and other members lauded him and wished him success. His performance highlights the growing presence of senior athletes from Jammu & Kashmir.
