Roll Ball C’ship concludes in Kathua

KATHUA, June 5: A two-day long Roll Ball Championship concluded here today in district Kathua.
The championship was conducted by Roll Ball Association of Jammu and Kashmir (RBAJK) in which a good number of teams participated.
In the opening day of the tournament, senior group of boys, Kathua Blue defeated Kathua Orange by 6-4 and in girls section, Kathua Blue defeated Kathua Red by 3-2 and in mini section, M Red defeated M Blue by 6-4. For the winning team, Dhariya scored all the 6 goals for his side.
He was declared as best player of the tournament. Prizes were distributed by Sushma Avtar, President Medal awardee and Principal of Higher Secondary School, Hiranagar. Indu Rekha, president Rotary Club Kathua, Dharamveer Singh, social activist, Sunil Sharma president bicycle for a change and Dr. Deepa Sharma were among others present.
Matches were conducted under the supervision of Chandan Sharma, International Roll Ball player along with Manvijay Singh, Sameer Gupta and Suresh Kumar.
