JAMMU, June 5: The Jammu University’s Inter-Departmental tournaments have started here from today.
The tournament was organised by Directorate of Sports of Physical Education here at University of Jammu. The tournaments are initially being played in the discipline of Cricket. The matches were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba Chairman, Campus Sports Committee University of Jammu.
In today’s matches, SHTM Department defeated Journalism Department by 6 wickets, Department of Law defeated Physics Department by 5 wickets and ICCR & HRM defeated Commerce department by 7 wickets.
The matches were officiated by Raj Kumar Bakshi, Thair Mahmood, Vijay Kumar, Sachin Singh and Saleem-ur Rahman.
