Ritti Club lifts Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament title

UDHAMPUR, Nov 4: Police Martyrs Memorial Under-19 Cricket Tournament organised by Udhampur Police under Civic Action Plan (CAP) concluded at District Police Lines (DPL), here today.
The tournament had started on October 31, in which teams from different parts of the District Udhampur took part.
On the closing ceremony, Additional SP Udhampur Rajinder Katoch, DySP DAR DPL Udhampur Shahid Nahiem and DySP Headquarters Udhampur Rohit Chadgal, Beopar Mandal President Udhampur, Vice President Municipal Council Udhampur and members of District Cricket Association Udhampur were present.
In the final match, Ritti Cricket Club outplayed Sunrise Red by 2 wickets and lifted the title trophy of Police Martyrs Memorial Under-19 Cricket Tournament.
Batting first, Sunrise Red scored 110 runs in 20 overs match and in reply, Ritti Cricket Club chased the target and won the match by 2 wickets.
During the whole tournament, 10 officials of Department of Youth Services and Sports remained engaged to make it a success.
Amit Sharma from Department of Youth Services and Sports acted as commentator in the cricket tournament.
While speaking, Additional SP Udhampur Rajinder Katoch stated that such types of sporting events will be continued so that budding sportspersons will display their talent.
