Renzushah for projecting Martial Art as National Game

SRINAGAR, Dec 2: Chairman Kashmir Society International and Chief Commissioner JK Scouts, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah while presenting prestigious Martial Art awards to the talented players during concluding ceremony of Tong ill Moo Do nad Ju-jitsu Championship said that Martial Art should be declared as the National Game so that world comes to know that it is original game of Kashmir.
He said that in 13th century Kashmir to Kashgar civilizations was string of pearls and entire globe had acclaimed value of Kashmir in this game.
On this occasion AC Shopian Riyaz Shah, Arshad Aziz, Head of Tong ill Moo Do and Shafqat Shafi General Secretary Ju-Jitsu Association J&K , Mir Nazir Founder of Sqay Martial Art game, chairperson of Green land school Nigeen Ms Afeefa, Nazir Makhdoomi and other personalities associated with Martial Art were present.
Renzushah said that due to political mishandlings of last 70 years, confusions and contradictions, no steps have been taken at any level for Kashmir Development particularly in field of sports and education. He said that indoor stadium is like cow shed and no sports infrastructure is available in Kashmir which could have given positive space to our youth.
