RAJOURI, Oct 12: The grand finale of the Haji Salam Din Memorial Pro Kabaddi League 2025 concluded with great excitement at Government High School Ground, Budhal, where Rajput Warriors defeated Peer Panjal in a thrilling match to lift the title. The 12-day event, which started on October 1, featured 12 teams, 18 league matches, two quarter-finals, two semi-finals and the grand final.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dil Mir (ADC Kotranka) as chief guest, with Ajaz Haider (SHO Budhal) and Manzoor Hussain (Headmaster GHS Budhal) as special guests. MLA Budhal Javed Iqbal Chaudhary, though unable to attend due to an urgent meeting in Srinagar, conveyed a message encouraging youth to embrace discipline, unity and courage through sports.
Waqar Lone, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, thanked all dignitaries and acknowledged team members Sajjad Owaisi, Iftikhar Malik, Zabeer Lone, Karamat Foji, Tanveer Thakkar, Imran Sheikh, Younas Parwana and Imtiaz Thakkar for the event’s grand success.
