RAJOURI, Mar 22: The Indian Army’s Ace of Spades Division successfully organized the Rajouri Marathon 2026 today as part of the Pre-Rajouri Day celebrations. Conducted under the theme “Hum Qadam Rajouri” (Walking Together with Rajouri), the marathon aimed to promote fitness, community participation, and camaraderie between the Armed Forces and local residents.
The event featured 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km competitive runs, along with a special race for specially-abled participants, reflecting the inclusive nature of the initiative. Students, youth, veterans, and professional runners enthusiastically participated, while large crowds of citizens lined the streets, cheering the participants.
During the closing ceremony, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Ace of Spades Division, felicitated winners across various categories. Cash prizes and medals were awarded to top performers, and all participants received Finisher Medals in recognition of their spirited involvement.
Officials highlighted that the marathon not only encouraged a healthy lifestyle but also strengthened the bond of trust and cooperation between the Indian Army and the people of Rajouri.
