JAMMU, May 6: Wrestler Qasim Deen (Billu) of J&K Police lifted “26th Annual Dansal Kesari 2013” title by defeating Wrestler Ranjeet of Ludhiana in Punjab in a neck to neck bout that lasted for 11 minutes at Dansal, near here today.
SHO Jhajjar Kotli, Mohd Parvez was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up wrestlers.
The chief guest and Sharma gave Rs 6,000 as cash prize to the winner of 1st Malli wrestler Qasim Deen (Billu), while a cash prize of Rs 4,000 was given to runner-up wrestler Ranjeet by Sarpanch Balwan Singh and Kewal Krishan.
In all 27 bouts were played in the one day dangal, wherein the second main bout was fought between wrestler Murad Ali of Domana and Mohd. Akram of Jammu, the bout remained undecided which was fought for 27 minutes, both the wrestlers jointly were given Rs 6,000 and third bout was won by Bobari of Sarore who defeated Ajay of Landon Power House, Udhampur.
