JAMMU, June 18: Purani Poonch got the better of United XI via Super-Over in the ongoing JKCA Poonch District Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, batting first, Purani Poonch scored 190 runs in 34 overs. Ravinder top scored with 41 runs, while Munna contributed 32 runs to the total. From United XI, Tahir was the pick of the bowlers, who took 3 wickets, while Wasim and Amrose claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, United XI also managed to score 190 runs in 35 overs to make it a tie. Sajid top scored with 60 runs, while Wasim contributed 24 runs to the total. From Purani Poonch, Amit, Ravinder and Junaid claimed 2 wickets each. Purani Poonch won the match in Super-Over.
The match was officiated by Vikas Sharma, Rajneesh Maini and Umran Shah.
The Tournament is being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) and coordinated by Pawan Kumar, Fitness Trainer BCCI, NCA and JKCA.
