SAMBA, June 18: Punjab Wrestler Gani won the title of Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal, organised by Baba Sidh Goria Ji Dangal Committee at Sidh Swankha, Vijaypur here.
He defeated Delhi Wrestler Gourav in a well fought main bout to win a cash prize of Rs 51, 000 along with Silver Gurj.
A total of 113 bouts were held during this mega Wrestling event, in which top Wrestlers of the country took part and vied for the top honours.
Mahant Girdhari Lal was the chief guest on the occasion, who felicitated the winners and runners-up Wrestlers with prizes including cash prize.
Sarpanches, Panches and senior citizens of the area were present on the occasion.
