JAMMU, Apr 29: Student of Heritage School, Puneesh Puri has brought laurels at 5th National Open Ranking Speed Skating Championship by winning three medals.
Puneesh Puri, a talented skater from Class 8th D of Heritage School showcased his remarkable skills in the skating rink by clinching two Gold medals and one Silver at the 5th National Open Ranking Speed Skating Championship held in Amritsar from April 25 to 28.
Organized by the Roller Skating Federation of India, the Championship witnessed fierce competition from talented skaters across the nation. Puneesh’s exceptional performance earned him accolades as he secured silver medal in 500+ D Rink Race, and soared to victory with gold medals in the 1000m Rink Race and 1500 m Road Race.
Puneesh’s success adds yet another chapter to his remarkable winning streak, solidifying his position as one of the brightest prospects in the realm of speed skating not only in Jammu but at the National level too.
