JAMMU, Nov 16: Power House Hockey Club Poonch defeated MBS Simbal Camp by three goals to one (3-1) in the inaugural match of the 2nd Sant Gurbaksh Memorial Hockey Tournament which got underway at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
Inspector General of Police (IGP), JP Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, who was interacted with players and officials on the occasion.
Sikh Martial Art promotional match was also played on the occasion, which was witnessed by a large crowd.
Speaking on the occasion, the IGP lavished praise on the organizers for conducting this mega event.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Swarn Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Kulwant Singh and Harvinder Singh, Chief Prosecuting Officer, Vigilance.
The matches were officiated by Jagjeet Singh, Iqbal Singh, Sant Tajwant Singh and G S Bakshi, Tournament Director.
