JAMMU, Nov 16: In the Day and Night Inter-Telecom Tournament held inside the spacious Cricket Hall of KC Sports Club concluded this evening with Reliance team emerged champions after defeating the Airtel team in an exciting summit clash.
Vishal Bhatia, a renowned cricketer and close associate of Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence was present at the finals.
Batting first, Airtel managed to score 19 runs in the stipulated Sixteen overs. In reply, Reliance team batted valiantly and amassed a brilliant score of 54 runs in 16 overs and thereby emerging champion of the tournament. The concluding ceremony was held at KC Sports Club in which Dr Ram Thakur gave away the Champions Trophy to the winning team.
Virender Singh Salathia and Vinod Nagra were declared the joint men of the match for their outstanding performance.
