Poonch Hockey Academy produces National stuff

POONCH, June 13: The newly established Sham Lal Hockey Academy in Poonch has produced as many as 31 National level players, who represented Jammu and Kashmir at the different National events during the last sports season.
The Academy is being looked after by family and friends of former SAI Hockey coach, Sham Lal Sharma, who lost his life in a road accident while returning from a National event.
And the young boys and girls as also those senior players are being trained at the Academy by the penal of qualified coaches including Pawan Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Navjot Singh (All NIS Diploma holders).
Representation from Academy:
Inter University: Women: Manpreet Kour, Urvashi Sharma, Mridhu Sharma, Abhilove Kour, Maheeka Maini, Meenakshi Khajuria, Parvneet Kour, Sita Sharma, Vandana Sharma. Men: Ramandeep Singh, Rahul Sharma, Rishab Sharma, Saval Ahmed.
64th School National Games: Girls U-17: Sheewani Sharma, Maheema Maini, Preeti Sharma, Diya Jaiswal, Halima Khatoon, Amna Khatoon, Iram Firdose. Boys: Shivam Sharma, Mohd Faizan. Boys U-19: Sharan Sharma, Ritik Kumar, Ajaz Ahmed.
Senior Nationals: Men: Shobit Tandon, Shokait Ahmed. Women: Meenakshi Khajuria, Harmeet Kour.
Sub-Junior National: Rudar Uttam, Shivam Sharma.
