JAMMU, Mar 19: A meeting of the office bearers and Executive members of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association was held at Jammu under the chairmanship of its president Shiv Kumar Sharma who is also Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council and Treasurer of Indian Style Wrestling Association of India.
Others who attended the meeting were Prem Choudhary (Chairman), Inderjeet Khajuria ( Senior Vice President), Bansi Lal Tidyal (General Secretary), PR Sharma (Treasurer), Ram Paul Sharma (Vice President), Mulkh Raj Sharma (Chairman Technical Committee), Prem Kumar, Rehmat Ali, Surinder Kumar and Bittu Raina.
It was decided in the meeting that District Poonch Indian Style Wrestling Association under the aegis of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and J&K State Sports Council will conduct Poonch District Indian Style Wrestling Championship (Men) on March 22, at Sports Stadium Poonch. The weigh in will start at 9 am in the categories of 55 Kg, 61 Kg, 67 Kg, 75 Kg, 97 Kg, and up to 125 Kg.
