Dhora CC to lock horns with Shiva Medicos CC in summit clash

SAMBA, Oct 29: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in their respective matches, Dhora Cricket Club (Dhora CC) will lock horns with Shiva Medicos Cricket Club in summit clash of the ongoing District Premier League Cricket Tournament played at Rani Suchet Singh Sports Stadium, here today.
First match was played between Dhora CC and Gurah Slathia Cricket Club wherein Dhora CC won the match by 4 wickets. Sourav Manhas was declared as Man of Match for his outstanding batting while 2nd match was played between Shiva Medicos CC and Hasal Dev Cricket Club in which Shiva Medicos Cricket Club defeated the opponent by 9 wickets. Akhil was declared as Man of Match for his knock of 33 runs and 3 wickets.
Meanwhile, a Police Martyrs Volleyball Tournament was also inaugurated by SDM Vijaypur, CP Kotwal at Government Higher Secondary School Vijaypur.
During the inaugural ceremony, SDPO Vijaypur, BDC Chairman, Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Vijaypur, SHO PS Vijaypur, prominent citizens, youth, students and family members of the police martyrs were also present.
About eight teams of district Samba are participating in this tournament.
Interacting with the players, the chief guest highlighted sports benefits and advised them to play game with true sportsmanship.
