ISDL Martial Art competitions conclude

JAMMU, Oct 29: Inter School District Level (ISDL) Martial Art AAG Boys & Girls competitions, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), concluded at Traditional Martial Art Academy, Channi Himmat, here today.
About 40 students of different schools took part in the competition. The objective of the competitions was to select best Martial Art players for the next level of tournament.
Adit Samantha, Tanmay Johal & Arvind Singh were selected in U/14 (boys) weight categories -39 kg, -42 kg and -50 kg respectively whereas Divyansh Singh of KV No. 2 has been selected in weight category +50 kg.
In U/17 (boys), Sanchit of APS Ratnu Chak, Harshjot Singh and Vasudev Dasgotra of APS Ratnu Chak have been selected in weight category -54,-51 and -57 respectively while Sayam Sharma of APS Ratnu Chak and Keshav Saini of Stephen International School were selected in U/17 (boys) weight category + 57 for next level of competitions.
The matches were officiated by panel of experts of Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu. The event was organised under supervision of DYSSO, Sukhdev Raj Sharma and overall supervision of DG YSS, Saleem-Ur-Rehman.
