REASI, Apr 5: District Police Reasi organized a Volleyball Tournament at Arnas under the Civic Action Programme to engage the youth from remote areas. Five teams participated in league matches followed by knockout rounds.
The final match, held at the Volleyball Ground in Dhandli, Arnas, saw MAMA Club Judda defeated JVC Club in a thrilling contest. The winners were awarded a trophy and Rs 10,000, while the runner-up received a trophy and Rs 5,000.
Mashkoor Ahmed, Superintendent of Police, Operations, was the chief guest, along with SDPO Arnas Updesh Singh, local Sarpanches, Panchayats, SHO Arnas Inspector Sumit Magotra, I/C PP Dansal PSI Rakshat Singh Jamwal and a large gathering of locals.
Trophies and refreshments were distributed to participants, adding to the celebration. SP Operations Arnas praised the players’ enthusiasm and sportsmanship, emphasizing the importance of sports in youth development.
