Poland Ambassador honours Indian Speed Ball Players

NEW DELHI, Dec 25: The Speed Ball Association of India recently organized the 36th World Speed Ball Championship 2025 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. The prestigious championship witnessed participation from more than 12 countries, including Egypt, Poland, Tunisia, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Iran, Australia, Germany, Palestine, and Ukraine. Over 120 international players competed in the event.
On this occasion, Dr. Piotr Antoni Œwitalski, Ambassador of Poland, graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Kamel Zayed Kamel Galal, Ambassador of Egypt, was present as the Guest of Honour. Vishal singh general secretary speed ball association of india were also present during the championship.
Addressing the players, Dr. Piotr Antoni Œwitalski Poland Ambassador appreciated Speed Ball as an excellent sport for young players, emphasizing its role in improving fitness, focus, and coordination. He also personally played the game, interacted with the Polish team, and watched the semi-final match between India and Poland. The Ambassador later distributed medals and trophies to the winners.
In the championship, Team India secured 3rd position overall.Sunny Nanda and Gurmanjeet Bag  3rd place in the Men’s Doubles category.,Sunny Nanda again secured 3rd position in Men’s Super Solo, achieving 245 hits in 2 minutes.In the Junior Doubles category, Rahul Kumar and Prafful claimed 3rd place.and men single Sahil janjua bag 3rd place .
At the conclusion of the event, Sunny Nanda  expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr. Piotr Antoni Œwitalski, Ambassador of Poland, and Kamel Zayed Kamel Galal, Ambassador of Egypt, for attending the Speed Ball championship, meeting the Indian players, and motivating them with their presence and encouragement.
