JAMMU, Jan 2: 3 players from Jammu and Kashmir BSNL Circle brought laurels to the State by winning medals in the 14th All India BSNL Weight Lifting, Power Lifting and Best Physique Championship held at Sangli in Maharashtra, recently.
Bhavineshar Singh, TTA O/o SDE (Trans), Kathua won gold medal in Weight Lifting in 56 kg category, while Deepak Jyoti, S A Office of the Telecom District Manager BSNL Udhampur bagged gold in Power Lifting in 66 kg category and Bansi Lal, Sports Inspector O/o CGMT J&K Circle got silver medal in Power Lifting Championship in 120 kg category.
7-member team of BSNL J&K Circle participated in the event which was held from December 27 to December 30, 2014.
R N Sudakar, Chief General Manager and president Circle Sports Control Board J&K Circle lauded the efforts of the team members for bringing laurels to BSNL J&K Circle.
