JAMMU, July 31: A placement drive under UDAAN project has been conducted at Government Polytechnic Jammu by Rooman Technologies and Renault Nissan Automobiles in which various students of Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges participated.
33 candidates from Computer Sciences, Information Technology and Electronics branch got selected for Rooman Technologies.
The resource person from Rooman technology was Mr Gaurav who conducted the interviews of the candidates.
In Renault Nissan Placement drive, more than 400 candidates participated, out of which 25 got selected.
Mr Vidyanathan and Mr Kawshik from the Renault Nissan conducted the group discussion and interview of shortlisted candidates.
Mr Sajjid Mir and Mr Anees from NSDC envisaged good mobilization for the placement drive under Udaan project.
A part from UDAAN project, a campus placement drive for UFLEX Pvt. Ltd. was also conducted for the polytechnic students of Mechanical Engineering.
Er Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt Polytechnic Jammu and Prof B C Sharma Nodal Officer Udaan invited Dheeraj Dhawan (AGM-HR and Admin) UFLEX Pvt. Ltd Unit-II, SIDCO Industrial Complex Bari Barahmana Jammu for the campus placement drive.
Twenty-four students participated in the drive out of which seven got selected.
The Placement Cell of Government Polytechnic Jammu, comprised of Er Hameed, Er Rishab, Er Sakshi, Er Shabir and Er Reenu was also present for the smooth conduct of drives in Govt Polytechnic Jammu under the overall guidance of Principal of Govt Polytechnic, Jammu.
